Last Saturday Los Milagros Artists Collective and the N’Namdi Center For Contemporary Art hosted a Frida Kahlo-inspired street performance to celebrate the N’Namdi Center’s exhibition “Mundo Mericas: Contemporary Art of the Americas” held in conjunction with the DIA’s special exhibition “Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo in Detroit.” The procession, which ended at the DIA, also featured a giant puppet created by the Matrix Theatre Company
